HOLA! My name is Keera Frye, and I’m currently a second semester senior at Point Park University in Pittsburgh. My major is Broadcast Reporting, and I have a minor in Public Relations and Advertising.
Now that we’ve gotten the formalities out of the way…
I’m super excited to travel outside of the country because I think we learn so much from the experiences we have in life and the people we meet. That being said, traveling beyond the United States is something that I’ve never been able to experience before that I think will be an amazing learning experience.
To be completely honest, I am one of the pickiest eaters that I know. So, I’m preparing to get out of my comfort zone and try some new (hopefully) yummy food. As part of an honors project for this class, I will actually be making a video comparing Spanish food in Pittsburgh to the real thing.
This trip to Spain is also extra exciting for me because I’m traveling with two of my friends, Elena Troia and Lindsay Carson. We’re like 3/4 of The Cheetah Girls exploring together, so you’ll notice that my blog titles are going to be named after The Cheetah Girls 2 soundtrack. The three of us are going to have so much fun exploring Spain, learning about the culture and media there and documenting our travels. STAY TUNED!!!
